Lady Tigers Defeat North Shelby

The Canton Lady Tigers Varsity beat North Shelby 10-0 in five innings on Thursday after a six-run explosion in the fourth inning.
The Lady Tigers scored in the fourth on three passed balls, a two-run single by Allison Phillips, and an RBI single by Saylor Collins.
Phillips went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Canton Lady Tigers.
Canton's Olivia Jarvis kept North Shelby off the scoreboard for all five innings she was in the circle. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up five.
The Lady Tigers never trailed after scoring two runs in the second on an RBI single by Kailee Gaither and an RBI triple by Collins.
