Lady Tigers Defeat Brashear in 5 Innings

The Canton Lady Tigers defeated Brashear 10-0 in five innings on Thursday after a six-run fourth inning.

The Lady Tigers scored in the fourth on a two-run double by Bri Caldwell, a two-run triple by Allison Phillips, an RBI single by Olivia Jarvis, and an RBI single by Laken Hugenberg.

Katie Gaus was solid at the plate for Canton. Gaus went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. She singled in the second and fourth innings.

Jarvis was in control on the rubber. Brashear managed just one hit off of Jarvis, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six during her five innings of work.

The Lady Tigers improved to 12-0 on the season.
