Lady Tigers Take 8-3 Victory over Mark Twain

The Canton Lady Tigers beat Mark Twain 8-3 in seven innings on Friday behind Jensen Crenshaw, who knocked in four runs. She singled in the fourth inning and tripled in the sixth inning.
Olivia Jarvis racked up six strikeouts in the the Lady Tigers' win. Jarvis allowed three earned runs, three hits and three walks over seven innings.
The game was never in doubt after the first, as Canton scored two runs on a two-run error.
Canton pushed one run across in each of the third, sixth and seventh. In the third, the Canton Lady Tigers scored on a single by Emma McKinstry.
After pushing across three runs in the bottom of the fifth, Mark Twain faced just a 6-3 deficit. A passed ball sparked Mark Twain 's rally. Jarvis ended the threat with a strikeout.
