Lady Tigers Win 7-2 Over Clark County

Jensen Crenshaw went 2-3, sparking the Canton Lady Tigers to a 7-2 victory in seven innings over Clark County on Monday. She doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Olivia Jarvis was a workhorse in the circle while bagging the win for Canton. Jarvis pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, three hits and no walks while striking out three.
The Canton Lady Tigers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. They got things going when Emma McKinstry singled. A groundout by Bri Caldwell then moved McKinstry from first to second. Allison Phillips doubled, plating McKinstry. Canton added more runs when Crenshaw scored on a groundout by Jarvis.
The Lady Tigers never surrendered the lead after the third inning, scoring one run on an error.
The Lady Tigers piled on three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. The inning got off to a hot start when Caldwell singled, scoring Saylor Collins. That was followed up by Crenshaw 's single, scoring Kailee Gaither and Katie Gaus.
