Lady Tigers Edge Palmyra 5-3 on Purple Night

The Lady Tigers and Lady Panthers teamed up for Monday night's action for Purple Night. The event was organized by the Lady Tigers to raise awareness for cancer and epilepsy in honor of Bridgett Whiston.

Jensen Crenshaw brought home the winning run to give the Canton Lady Tigers the lead in the sixth inning, as the they hung on to beat Palmyra 5-3 on Monday.

Kailee Gaither doubled to get on base in the sixth. She then went from second to third on an RBI single by Bri Caldwell.

The Lady Tigers held off Palmyra, as Palmyra was unable to overcome a three-run sixth inning deficit.

Palmyra scored one run in the seventh on an RBI single.
