Lady Tigers Advance to District Championship

The Canton Lady Tigers defeated Knox County on Thursday 6-0 at Scotland to advance to the Class 1, District 12 Championship.
The Lady Tigers scored three runs in the fourth on a two-run triple by Jensen Crenshaw and an RBI single by Allison Phillips.
Canton's Olivia Jarvis kept Knox off the scoreboard for all seven innings she was on the rubber. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up four.
The Lady Tigers were sparked by Crenshaw and Jarvis at the plate, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.
