Thursday was a great day for Lance Logsdon, as he hit two home runs to carry the Canton Tigers Varsity to a 14-0 victory over Unity in five innings.

Eight runs in the first three innings helped the Canton Tigers take a commanding lead Unity. A solo home run by Logan Brown and a two-run home run by Logsdon in the first inning helped the Tigers put some runs on the board early.

Canton hit four home runs in the win. Additional home runs for the Tigers came when LaVion Wilson homered in the third inning and Logsdon homered in the first and third innings.

Logsdon recorded the win for Canton. He pitched four shutout innings. Logsdon struck out seven, walked one and gave up three hits.

The Tigers' Drake Serbin, Brown, Logsdon and Wilson combined for seven hits and 11 RBIs.

Canton added five more runs in the bottom of the third. Logsdon homered, plating Brown to start the inning. That was followed up by Wilson's three-run blast, bringing home Cooper Hudnut and Serbin.

The Tigers Varsity tacked on another six runs in the fourth. The inning got off to a hot start when Josh Kermoade doubled, scoring Brown and Koy Smith. That was followed up by Serbin's single, bringing home Hudnut and Kermoade.
