The Canton Tigers jumped out to an early lead on South Shelby and captured a 16-0 victory on Friday.
Twelve runs in the first three innings allowed the Tigers to put the game away early.
A hit by pitch in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Lance Logsdon, two passed balls, and an error during fueled the second inning Tiger offense.
Koy Smith racked up three RBIs on two hits for Canton. He singled in the third and fifth innings.
Cooper Hudnut held South Shelby hitless over three innings, allowed no runs, walked none and struck out three.
Six Tiger hitters combined for eight hits, nine RBIs and 13 runs scored.
The Canton Tigers built upon their lead with seven runs in the third. Smith kicked things off with a single, bringing home Trey Metz. That was followed up by Hudnut's double, bringing home Logsdon and Smith.
The Tigers piled on four more runs in the top of the fifth. A bases loaded walk scored Josh Kermoade to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Smith's single, plating Lavion Wilson and Metz.
