Lance Logsdon came up big at the dish and on the bump, leading the Canton Tigers to a 7-2 win over Clopton on Monday.
Logsdon racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Tigers. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.
Logsdon struck out 13 hitters en route to the win. Logsdon allowed two earned runs, three hits and five walks over seven innings.
The Canton Tigers went up for good in the third, scoring four runs on an RBI double by Logan Brown, a sacrifice fly by Koy Smith, and two singles.
The Tigers got one-run rallies in the fifth inning and the sixth. In the fifth, the Tigers scored on a solo home run by Logsdon.
One run in the top of the seventh helped Clopton close its deficit to 7-2.
